GrantPathways, Inc. now Open for Business in the Miami Valley/Dayton, Ohio Area!
Fulfilling the dream of Jule’ Colvin to one day be able to assist non-profit agencies meet the needs of their community in another part of the country, GrantPathways in the Miami Valley/Dayton, Ohio area has become a reality. Pamela Mayor is pleased to be assisting Jule’ in this new venture.
Jule’ and Pamela have known each other for over 30 years. Both were born and raised in Greenville, Ohio, and both have lived in Dayton, where Pamela still resides with her husband. Pamela brings over 35 years of experience as a social worker, with 5 years being a contract monitor; contacts with numerous area agencies; and a Master of Social Work degree with a Social Administration concentration to her work with GrantPathways.
The Miami Valley/Dayton area has been hit hard by the economic downturn as it has a history of residents being employed by manufacturing businesses that have either left the area or closed. With fewer tax dollars being available and fewer jobs, there is a critical need for grant money being found to meet the various needs of the communities.
Jule’ visited Dayton on April 3rd and 4th. She and Pamela started marketing the business by meeting with several organizations within the community. Since then, Pamela has networked with numerous community organizations, has her first agency client whom she has written a grant for, and will be meeting with several potential agency clients within the next few weeks. Pamela looks forward to bringing the mission of GrantPathways to her area and using the skills she has obtained to assist non-profits in meeting the needs of the clients they serve.
